Mutiara Bukit Jalil

Mutiara Bukit Jalil (MBJ, or in chinese: "武吉加里尔珍珠区") is situated at KL-Selangor border. It is considered as part Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, which carries a KL postcode of 58200. MBJ was originally known as Lots 509, 1122 and 1368 of Mukim Petaling, which was later readdressed as Mutiara Bukit Jalil under the residential development project by Puchong Kinrara Development (a subsidiary of Dolomite Corporation).

The second phase (Phase 2) was launched in November 2005. The third phase (Phase 3) was launched in 2008 and completed in 2010. Some land has been reserved for fourth phase ( Phase 4 ) development in future.

All of the houses in MBJ are 3-storey terrace link homes, situated on freehold land. There are 2 playgrounds/parks at MBJ. One of them is located by Jalan Tiara 4. It is an open area with land size of about 260' x 100'. The park is furnished with a badminton court (open area), jogging track, pavilion, and children playground. This park  was initially for residents in Phase 1 when Phase 2 and 3 were under construction.

Accessibility

Although MBJ comes with a KL postcode, at the moment it is only accessible from the Selangor side via Bukit Jalil Highway and Jalan Kinrara 1.

If you are coming from Klang or Shah Alam (via Federal Highway), Damansara, Sunway, or Puchong, the easiest way to reach MBJ is to follow Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and turn to Bukit Jalil Highway, after that just go straight following the road until you see Giant Bandar Kinrara Mall on your right. Try to keep to the left lane and go straight. You see 2 petrol stations on your right (the opposite side of the road, the first petrol station is Petronas followed by Caltex). Also, you shall notice an overhead bridge in front of you, just keep on going straight. Right after the overhead bridge, there is a left turn before Hap Seng Star. Take the left turn and going straight. MBJ is just in front of you after a "t" junction. If you missed the left turn, just continue to keep to the left lane and take the next left turn (to Jalan BK 1/20) coming to you. After that just follow the route and find your way to MBJ. It is just less than 500m away.

If you are coming from PJ, Bangsar, KL Sentral, Mid Valley or Old Klang Road, the nearest way would be to follow Jalan Puchong and turn to Jalan Kinrara 1 (turn left when you see WhiteTown Coffee on your left, before the traffic light), after go straight until you see SRJK(T) Kinrara. Take the left turn after the school to Jalan Kinrara 2. To reach MBJ, just go straight following the road. Take the third left turn and MBJ is just right in front of you!

If you are coming from the City (KLCC, Ampang, etc.), you can either follow the roads to Old Klang Road then go by Jalan Puchong and Jalan Kinrara 1 (as mentioned above) to reach MBJ; or to go by Sungai Besi Highway and follow the road to Bukit Jalil Stadium. After that follow the road to Bukit Jalil Highway passing Technology Park Malaysia. Continue go straight following Bukit Jalil Highway until a Caltex petrol station appears on your left followed by a Petronas petrol station (there will be a row of shop houses on you left). Keep to the left lane leading to Giant Bandar Kinrara Mall, don't pass the bridge. After that there will be a traffic light   and a "t" junction right in front of you, take the right turn after the traffic light. After the traffic, there are 3 ways to reach MBJ. For first timer, it is advisable to take the left turn following the directions given along the road side to Hap Seng Star. The signs will lead you back to Bukit Jalil Highway. Just follow the route direction above to reach MBJ.

The second option is to go straight after the right turn at the traffic light junction. You will see a school on your right (SRJK(T) Kinrara), take the right turn to Jalan Kinrara 2 and follow the previous directions to reach MBJ.

The third option is a tricky one, which can be quite confusing for first timer. It is to take another right turn after the right turn from the traffic light junction to towards an Indian Temple (there is a playground next to the Temple). After that just go straight until you read a "T" junction. Take the right turn to Jalan Kinrara 2 and follow the previous directions to reach MBJ.

If you happened to come from KL-Seremban Highway, follow the 6 o'clock turn after the round about at the turf club to Bukit Jalil Highway. Just go straight on Bukit Jalil Highway and follow the directions given above to reach MBJ.
