Proposed LRT Line Extension Adjacent to Mutiara Bukit Jalil

In 2010, Prasarana had announced the commencement of construction works for the LRT Extension Project. The proposed Ampang extension line starts from Sri Petaling Station and passes through Kinrara, Puchong and ends at Putra Heights. The extension is 17.7km long with 12 new stations.

Amendment to the section of the alignment is from Ch. 15.2km to Ch. 17.7km. For details, refer to the route map.

From the LRT Extension Route Map, Stn 3 (Bukit Kinrara) will be the nearest LRT station from Mutiara Bukit Jalil (MBJ). It is located adjacent to Hap Seng Star Showroom, about less than 500m away from the guard house entrance to MBJ.

In addition, Stn 4 will be located near Giant Kinrara, about 1km from MBJ.

All stations will have facilities such as lifts, escalators, public telephones, surau and public toilets. The stations will also be equipped with Universal Access facilities such as ramps, tactile tiles, low ticket counters and toilets for the disabled.

The project is expected to be completed in 2014.
